MOTOR EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS

Metal Components for Electric Motors

Custom brackets, housings, covers and supporting assemblies manufactured to motor-equipment drawings and interface requirements.

Control Critical Mounting Interfaces

Motor-related assemblies often depend on aligned mounting patterns, shaft or coupling clearance, ventilation and service access. These relationships are reviewed before fabrication.

Typical Components

  • Motor mounting plates and brackets
  • Protective guards and ventilation covers
  • Fabricated bases and support frames
  • Terminal and control enclosures
  • OEM hardware and subassemblies
Dimensional quality inspection for fabricated metal parts

Interface Review

  1. Identify mounting datums and critical patterns.
  2. Review stiffness and forming direction.
  3. Plan weld sequence around alignment requirements.
  4. Check coating allowances at mating surfaces.
  5. Inspect interfaces against approved drawings.

Project-Specific Inspection

Dimensional and functional checks are defined by the drawing. Electrical performance or motor certification remains outside the fabricated-metal scope unless separately specified.
